Planned Giving

Bequests
Bequest designations of retirement plan assets, property, and life insurance policies are essential to ensuring that your favored charitable organizations such as Anchorage Opera will continue to thrive in the years to come.

Memorial and Tribute Funds
Anchorage Opera can create Memorial and Tribute Funds for patrons who wish to make donations in honor of someone special. Gifts can be given for any special occasion including birthdays, holidays, or anniversaries, or in memory of those who have passed away.

Please contact Christine A Eagleson at (907) 279-2570 or CAEagleson@anchorageopera.org.

Gifts of Securities, Real Estate or Property

Popular alternatives to cash are gifts of appreciated property, such as securities or real estate. These can provide even greater tax benefits to you than the equivalent gift in cash.

The greatest tax benefits are generated by gifts of appreciated property held long-term (more than one year under current law).

For more information, contact Christine A Eagleson at (907) 279-2570 or CAEagleson@anchorageopera.org.

Matching Gifts

Corporate matching gifts are an important way to double, or even triple, your gift to AO!

If your company has a matching gift program, be sure to include an appropriate form with your contribution. We’ll handle the rest. For additional information, contact Christine A Eagleson at (907) 279-2570 or CAEagleson@anchorageopera.org.
